A look back at Missouri's 2013 depth chart

What are you up to this fine Saturday, at least beyond keeping up with the Mizzou-Florida softball game at noon and the Mizzou-Ole Miss baseball game at 2:05?

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Four former Missouri Tigers were selected in the first two rounds of the 2015 NFL Draft. Combined with the four who went in last year's draft, I thought it would be interesting to take a peek back at the 2013 depth chart as it stood before the Cotton Bowl.

Lucas Vincent (Jr.) -- ???

Kony Ealy (Jr.) -- second-round pick (2014), Carolina Panthers
Markus Golden (Jr.) -- second-round pick (2015), Arizona Cardinals

Kentrell Brothers (So.) -- current starter, potential 2016 draftee
Darvin Ruise (Jr.)

Andrew Wilson (Sr.) -- signed and released by Miami Dolphins
Michael Scherer (RSFr.) -- current starter

Donovan Bonner (Sr.) -- signed and released by Indianapolis Colts
Clarence Green (So.) / Donavin Newsom (RSFr.) -- current starter/backup

E.J. Gaines (Sr.) -- sixth-round pick (2014), St. Louis Rams
Aarion Penton (Fr.) -- current starter

Randy Ponder (Sr.)
John Gibson (RSFr.) -- current backup

Braylon Webb (Jr.) -- ???
Ian Simon (So.) -- current starter

Matt White (Sr.)
Duron Singleton (Jr.) -- ???

That's six draft picks in the trenches, with up to three more getting their names called next year. At quarterback and the skill positions, that's five players either drafted or signed by a pro team, with up to four more preparing to join them. Kenya Dennis gives Missouri another potential 2016 draft pick as well.

The pro talent on this team was perhaps even more significant and/or well-regarded than we even knew at the time, thanks to Dennis' emergence and Ray's explosion. (And if you'd have told me that Mitch Morse would eventually go ahead of Markus Golden ... with Golden still going in the second round ... I probably wouldn't have believed you.)

Hell of a team, huh?

Of course, the 2012 team had these draftees, plus Sheldon Richardson, Zaviar Gooden, Kendial Lawrence, and T.J. Moe. That team must have been awesome!

What's that?
