This is OL Mackenzie Nworah. He happens to be from Manvel, Texas. https://t.co/TDmvfOjzuj

Manvel is also in the Houston metroplex. That's 2 from that area in 3 days after none from the whole state of Texas last year.

I would suggest that means A.J. Ricker is putting in some work.

Missouri's 2014-15 recruiting classes included just two Texas players (none this year); Tigers have two Texas commits over the last few days

Well, we were speculating that a good portion of the rest of this recruiting class would focus on linemen and linebackers...
Two days after Houston linebacker Trey Baldwin committed, Mizzou made it two Houston-area commitments by evidently landing three-star offensive lineman Mackenzie Nworah.
Nworah is a 6'4, 305-pound hoss from Manvel. He boasted offers from Arizona State, Boston College, Colorado, Houston, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas State, Maryland, Oklahoma State, Purdue, and Texas Tech. Here's his Hudl film:
Most agile 300-pounders are going to dominate at the high-school level, but Nworah still looks the part. He pulls with ease and seems to do well blocking in space, and as one would expect, he looks stronger than everybody else around him. I'm a super-easy grader, but he checks most of the boxes you would hope for a high school lineman to check, and judging from his offer list, it's a surprise that he's 'only' a low-three-star recruit per Rivals. We'll see if that changes.
Nworah is Mizzou's 10th commitment in the 2016 class, which is now somewhere between about 50 and 62 percent full. A week ago, Mizzou had four commitments. This is one heck of a run.
