Albert Okwuegbunam committed while on his recruiting visit to Mizzou and shortly after the end of the 9-6 win over UConn. He is the third commit from the state of Illinois.

Okwuegbunam is a 3* recruit according to Rivals, 247 and ESPN and comes from Sacred Heart Griffin HS in Springfield, Illinois. He's a 6'5, 215 lb athlete who plays DE and the WR/TE hybrid we're becoming used to Mizzou targeting. He chose Mizzou over a host of B1G schools.
