Mizzou vs Savannah State Live Thread

Well this is it, the final game Mizzou has before they enter the rigors of SEC play this coming Wednesday. The other night they had a spectacular beatdown of UAPB, and let's hope for a repeat today.

Savannah State is from the MEAC and currently sit at 8th in their conference. They are ranked 336 in KenPom's current standings and are statistically one of the worst teams in the country and should be a push over. Have a close game with these guys and things are gonna get weird.

No preview for this game so here are my keys to a Mizzou victory and heading into conference play at 7-6 (as Sam, Jack and I predicted...look at that!):

Mizzou Keys to Victory

1) Get up big early and suck the life out of the visiting Tigers immediately. Crush their basketball souls.

2) Don't get hurt. SEC play starts next week where every team will be bigger and stronger so coming in 100% healthy is paramount!

3) Have fun! Basketball is a game and there won't be any opportunities in the SEC to just beat the hell out of anyone like the chance afforded today, so go out there stomp and cruise.

And that should do it! Listen this is a terrible, TERRIBLE opponent, so Mizzou needs to win big like they did on the 30th, anything less than that and you are free to freak out.
