Andrew Baggett named MVP of NFLPA all-star game

Here's your Sunday weekend update and live thread.

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

First things first: congrats to Andrew Baggett on being named the MVP of the NFLPA Bowl game

Baggett went 6-for-7 on field goals, including on 50-yarder. Pete Scantlebury quipped,

Mizzou flipped two recruits on secret visits last night, four-star RB Damarea Crockett and three-star DT Markell Utsey, both from Little Rock, Arkansas. Combined with Micah Wilson, that's three commits Mizzou has flipped since Friday.

That's Crockett on the left and Utsey on the right. There are still a couple other commits on campus right now. You can find who else is visiting here. These official visits are offering us a sneak peak at some previously unseen yellow Mizzou helmets.

What about some of the other visitors, like Trystan Castillo, who was shown around by none other than Drew Lock himself?

We could see at least one more commitment on Monday in JUCO tackle Breontae Matthews

Matthews would be the second JUCO OL from California in as many years.

Elsewhere, Tiger commit DeMarkus Acy just cancelled an official visit to Texas despite the Horns showing late interest. Yesterday, he was tweeting about wearing #2 for the Tigers (yes, Nate Brown, currently the only other #2 on the roster, plays offense and DeMarkus will end up playing defense).

Looking ahead, Mizzou could be in the market for at least one more defensive lineman as they seek to get an official visit from recent USC decommit, 6'4, 275-pound DT Keyshon Camp. Former USC DL coach Chris Wilson will have to work hard because Ohio State is knocking on the door.

Oh hello there, Marquise Doherty, almost didn't notice you're on Mizzou's Baseball roster, listed as an outfielder and wearing #19. Doherty redshirted at running back for Mizzou last year and joins the long proud tradition of Mizzou running backs playing baseball in the offseason. Sorry for scooping ya, trripleplay.

In other news, the men's team dropped a surprisingly close 66-53 contest against Texas A&M on the road. Wes Clark led Mizzou with 12 points, you can check the Box Score here. Curiously, Tramaine Isabell and D'Angelo Allen did not play because of a "coach's decision"

Meanwhile, the women's team plays today at 1pm against #22 Florida on the SEC Network. Sophie Cunningham has one young fan excited for basketball at Mizzou Arena.
