It was a busy day of mini-stories
1. Charles Harris will announce his pro intentions today
And he's probably gone.
Post-Dispatch: Mizzou's Harris to announce future plans Thursday
Harris, a Lincoln Prep grad, is projected by many as a first-round pick if he opts to enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
— Tod Palmer (@todpalmer) November 30, 2016
Harris, who is from Kansas City, said several times late in the season that he wasn't sure about if he'd be back or leave for the NFL.

Having said that, I'd be shocked if his decision was to return for sr yr. Harris said he's set to graduate w/ health science degree in Aug.

Mizzou DE Fraizer was asked about Harris' future on Fri: "I pray to God he’s back ... (but) know there’s millions of dollars on the line."
— Tod Palmer (@todpalmer) November 30, 2016
Harris said last year, when he had similar decision, he wanted to play alongside Harold Brantley, who missed 2015 w/ injuries from car wreck
— Tod Palmer (@todpalmer) November 30, 2016
Brantley was dismissed on the eve of training camp, so those plans for Harris were scuttled. Brantley wound up at D-II NW Mo State.

I looked up multiple NFL mock drafts written this week. Four of five of those mock drafts have Charles Harris as a 1st rounder. #Mizzou pic.twitter.com/m5bs8R7Prw

NSD Feb 2013 @PeteScantlebury and I had never heard of Charles Harris. Now he is probably an early entry first round pick. What a story.

IIRC Dimarya Mixon decommitted from #Mizzou to free up the scholarship #Mizzou offered Harris.

I had turned off the Mizzou Network show. @btaustin had to call me to say, "Someone named Charles Harris was just announced." https://t.co/8thG3p70pW

Believe my PG rated response was "who the heck is Charles Harris?" https://t.co/1pMyeR0xug
