Assuming that there isn’t an Arizona hangover, Missouri should beat Eastern Illinois. The debut of former Texas commit Jordan Barnett should only heighten Missouri’s chances of getting the win.
A major area of concern for the Tigers has been their scoring droughts. Regardless of the opposing team's talent level, Missouri always seems destined for a 4-5 minute scoring drought. They need to figure this out during the next three nonconference games if they want to have any chance at a success during conference play.
Shot selection is a major key. Coach Anderson said that the coaches reviewed and discussed each shot taken by every player this season. For the first time all season, Coach A showed real displeasure with the shot selection. If the Tigers take these discussions to heart, we should begin to see a better product.
