Missouri football coach Barry Odom has dismissed wide receiver Keyon Dilosa from the team, MU spokesman Chad Moller confirmed Thursday. Dilosa was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault for allegedly punching a woman in the face with a closed fist in downtown Columbia.
Columbia Police were called to 10th Street outside Harpo's Bar & Grill for a physical disturbance involving Dilosa, 20, and a 20-year-old woman, according to the police report. A witness told police that Dilosa and the alleged victim were in a verbal argument and Dilosa struck the victim one time in the face with a closed fist. The witness said bystanders assisted in restraining Dilosa until officers arrived. The alleged victim and Dilosa were in an intimate relationship, according to police.

I guess it was pretty obvious where that was headed, and Barry Odom didn't waste a lot of time. This was a pretty easy call, and I'm assuming it would have been easy whether Dilosa was a reserve or a starter. Either way, you hate finding out someone is capable of this.
In two seasons, Dilosa had 13 catches for 93 yards with the Tigers.

The first round of the NCAA Tournament couldn't have gone any better for Mizzou Volleyball. NIU scored four points in a row to tie the first set at 10-10, and the Tigers responded with a 40-19 run over two sets. NIU went up 4-1 to start the third, then Mizzou outscored the Huskies 24-16 the rest of the way.
So now that that's out of the way, it's time to exorcize a demon. Three yeras ago, Purdue knocked Mizzou's undefeated 2013 team out of the NCAAs in the Hearnes Center in the second round. The Boilermakers pasted Iowa State last night, so now it's revenge time. Hopefully.
