Mizzou is making a late, semi-successful push at two of its most high-profile remaining targets in the 2016 class. Four-star shooting guard Eron Gordon of Indianapolis will be visiting alongside big man Cheickna Dembele on the weekend of May 6. Mizzou has space to take both -- which would give the Tigers a seven-man 2016 class -- but the numbers would be interesting. if Mizzou were to take both, that would mean the Tigers would have to swallow a scholarship next year as part of its NCAA punishment. And it would only have a spot available in 2017 (i.e. Michael Porter Jr.'s class) if someone defects. Then again, defection hasn't exactly been uncommon so far...
