What's on
The One State, One Spirit Classic.
Yesterday was the five-year anniversary of the devastating tornado that wiped out Joplin. There are a lot of inspiring, interesting reads about the town's rebuilding process.

I'm not sure the state has ever been more unified than it was in the months following this disaster. And the work Mizzou did with the One State, One Spirit Classic made me incredibly proud of this place. Five years later, I'm not sure the state and the university have ever been less unified in modern times, and I wish there was something other than a natural disaster that could pull everybody together again. My best wishes to those who had their lives transformed five years ago.
