More on Kemp
The Trib: Missouri lands late commitment from Utah forward Kemp
"I think that Missouri got a kid who’s got just like an unlimited ceiling," [AAU coach Hector] Marquez added. "He’s very skilled right now as a barely 18-year-old, so development-wise, the sky’s the limit. He’s 200 pounds. For him to put 25 pounds on before the season starts, it’s almost 100 percent doable just because of his body frame."
He appears to have athletic genes. His older brother, Marcus, was the leading receiver at Hawaii last fall, hauling in 36 catches for 563 yards, and his cousin Brittney Martin led the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team in scoring, steals and rebounds last season and was an honorable mention WBCA All-American.

The Trib: SEC coaches look for ways to raise league's basketball profile
The league keeps hiring people to help with the basketball "profile." You know how you help your conference profile? Make good hires, support them, and win games. That's it. That's really the only path. Better scheduling will help, but only if you've made good hires and supported them. Schools made what seemed to be some pretty good hires in the last 15 months or so. If they actually turn out to be good hires, the league's profile will improve. Magic!
