PowerMizzou’s Gabe DeArmond is reporting that, after a tumultuous year in charge of the Missouri athletic department, Mack Rhoades will be leaving to take the vacant Baylor job.
The 50-year old Rhoades has been at Missouri for about 14 months and had to oversee one of the most constantly dramatic years in the history of a rather constantly dramatic athletic program.
Not sure what it says about Mizzou, but it says a lot about what the current guy THINKS about Mizzou https://t.co/qrBzBThZIM

Rhoades had a growing list of detractors because of his handling of certain crises, and he certainly had quite a few to deal with.
We will have more thoughts about this moving forward, but for now, well, we’ll see what candidates emerge. Goodness knows the Mike Alden tree has a lot of fertile branches if the people in charge want to go down that path.
