Outgoing Missouri athletic director Mack Rhoades just had his introductory press conference at Baylor, where he has taken on an AD/VP position. Some quick quotes:
Rhoades: “I think the University of Missouri, the athletics program, is in a better place than it was 15 months ago.” @CoMissourian
— Brooks Holton (@brooksHolton) July 18, 2016
Rhoades: "Proud of what we accomplished over the 15 months (at Missouri). The culture has changed.''

YES! Press conference included the word “transparent.” That was one of Mack’s favorite words. It didn’t ever happen though.

@GabeDeArmond Sans the marching band, Golden Girls and all the celebration.

Takeaways from Rhoades presser:
— Blake Toppmeyer (@btoppmeyer) July 18, 2016
-- He starts at Baylor Aug. 15
-- He likes HGTV's "Fixer Upper"
-- He thinks he did pretty darn well at MU
I don’t really have anything to add to this. As I’ve said quite a few times, Rhoades only knows AD speak, which is to say every job went great, you’re proud of everything you’ve done, and you only see opportunity and whatnot ahead.
Still ... Missouri is in a better place than it was 15 months ago, huh? That’s what we’re going with, huh?
