Meanwhile, how's Drew Lock doing?

Post-Dispatch (BenFred): After taking lumps last season, Mizzou's Lock looks confident

Lock completed 49 percent of his passes. He threw four touchdowns and eight interceptions. The Tigers went 5-7, 1-7 in the SEC.

He says he's better for it.

"What Heupel and I talked about a lot was just confidence," Lock said. "Last year didn't' go very well. Everyone has the lumps in the road. It's what you do after the lumps in the road that make you the player you are. I knew I had to come in here chest out, knowing I'm the guy. Since I started doing that, it's made things a lot easier."
