Missouri has released its depth chart and game notes for Saturday’s home stand against the Florida Gators.

Quarterback
- Drew Lock (6’4, 225, Jr.) Last Week: 31/37, 377 yards, 5 TDs
- Micah Wilson (6’3, 215, RSFr.) Last Week: 3/6, 31 yards, 1 INT, 3 rushes, 14 yards, 1 TD
- Jack Lowary (6’4, 225, So.)
A #Locktober to remember: Drew Lock became the first quarterback in Mizzou history to throw five or more touchdowns in a single game at least five times in his career. Lock moved into third place in Mizzou football history in both passing yards (7,298) and touchdowns (55), behind Brad Smith and Chase Daniel. He is now the ninth in the nation in yards per game, eighth in quarterback rating, and tied with West Virginia’s Will Grier for first in touchdown passes.
More importantly, we got to see QB2 (Micah Wilson) throw the ball — he threw an interception and took a big hit but also ran for touchdown.
Micah Wilson is the reason I'm not worried about lost QB recruits*

Running back
- Ish Witter (5’10, 200, Sr.) Last Week: 10 — 73 yards, 1 TD
- Larry Rountree (5’11, 215, Fr.) Last Week: 6 — 60 yards
- Not listed: Dawson Downing (6’0, 225, R-Fr.) Last Week: 10 — 60 yards
If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that we here at Rock M Nation have been rooting for walk-on wonder back Dawson Downing since Ellie Liebs profiled him earlier this summer.

Receiving corps
X-WR:
- J’Mon Moore (6’3, 205, Sr.) Last Week: 8 catches/8 targets — 96 yards, 2 TDs
- Dominic Collins (6’2, 185, Sr.) Last Week: 2 /3 — 27 yards
Eight catches on eight targets for 96 yards and two touchdowns means J’Mon Moore is tied for fourth in Mizzou history with 18 career TD grabs. Moore has now caught a pass in 25 straight games.
Capping off a nice drive with a TD. The first trip to the red zone delivers points for @MizzouFootball. pic.twitter.com/f0i8vofP6S

Y-WR:
- Emanuel Hall (6’3, 200, Jr.) Last Week: 5 catches/6 targets — 37 yards
- Nate Brown (6’3, 210, R-Jr.) Last Week: 2/2 — 17 yards
Hall didn’t have as explosive a game but was largely efficient catching the ball. Hopefully it’s all sandbagging for the Florida game.
Slot:
- Johnathon Johnson (5’10, 185, So.) Last Week: 5/8 — 128 yards, 1 TD
- Richaud Floyd (5’11, 190, So.) Last Week: 4/6 — 43 yards
Another monster game for Johnson, with the added bonus that we’re seeing the slot receivers run more slant and seam routes through the middle to open up the middle of the field. It’s working.
Tight End:
- Albert Okwuegbunam (6’5, 260, RSFr.) Last Week: 4/4 — 34 yards, 2 TDs
- Jason Reese (6’5, 250, Sr.) Last Week: 0—0
- Kendall Blanton (6’6, 260, Jr.) Last Week: 0—0
Albert Okwuegbunam has 7 TD on 15 catches in 22 targets this year: 2.14 catches/TD; 3.14 targets/TD; 246.87 rating when thrown to

- Adam Ploudre (6’4, 315, Sr.)
Center:

Defense

Defensive line
Rush End:
- Marcell Frazier (6’5, 265, Sr.) Last Week: 4 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, 1 Pass Break Up
- Chris Turner (6’4, 250, Fr.) Last Week: 0 stats
- Unlisted: Akial Byers (6’4, 295, Fr.) Las Week: 1 tackle
Defensive End:
- Jordan Harold (6’2, 255, Sr.) Last Week: 1 tackle
- Nate Anderson (6’0, 265, Jr.) Last Week: 3 tackles
- OR Tre Williams (6’5, 250 R-Fr.) Last Week: 1 tackle
Missouri’s defensive line brought pressure in Connecticut, with Marcell Frazier leading the way. I’m still waiting on a breakout game from one of the young bulls — stares at #s 39 and 93.
Nose Tackle:
- AJ Logan (6’2, 330, SR.) Last Week: 0—0
- Markell Utsey (6’4, 305, So.) Last Week: 0—0
- Walter Palmore (6’4, 320, Jr.) Last Week: 1 tackle, 1 PBU
Missouri’s coaching staff has made sure to heap praise on AJ Logan, giving him credit for Terry Beckner’s strong run of performances because he’s drawing double teams. Sure.
Defensive Tackle:
- Terry Beckner Jr. (6’4, 305, Jr.) Last Week: 4 tackles 1 sack, 2.5 TFLs, 1 PBU
- Rashad Brandon (6’3, 300, Jr.) Last Week: 0—0
- Kobie Whiteside (6’1, 300, Fr.) Last Week: 1 tackle
Beckner has been dominant all season and is feasting on the Missouri’s lesser opponents. If I were you, I’d enjoy these next four games of his.
Meanwhile, Rashad Brandon, who had been a standout at the beginning of the season, is somewhat silent. #DLineZou will need all hands on deck if the Tigers want to become bowl eligible.
Linebackers
Weakside Linebacker:
- Terez Hall (6’2, 230, Jr.) Last Week: 4 tackles, 1 TFL
- Joey Burkett (6’2, 230, Sr.) Last Week: 1 tackle
Middle Linebacker:
- Cale Garrett (6’3, 235, So.) Last Week: 6 tackles, 1 sack, 1 QBH
- Eric Beisel (6’3, 245, Sr.) Last Week: 5 tackles, 1 PBU
- Unlisted: Jamal Brooks (6’1, 227, Fr.) Last Week: 4 tackles
Sam/Nickel defender:
- Brandon Lee (6’2, 225, Jr.) Last Week: 4 tackles, 0.5 sack, 1.5 TFL, 1 PBU
- TJ Warren (5’11, 215, So.) Last Week: 2 tackles, 1 INT
- Joshua Bledsoe (6’0, 200, Fr.) Last Week: 1 tackle
Lee had a strong game, but to me the real story was Missouri’s lone takeaway coming from TJ Warren’s first career interception. His sudden return after a mysterious six-game suspension that we only learned about after the game: o_0?
Secondary
Cornerback:
- DeMarkus Acy (6’2, 185, So.) Last Week: 1 tackle
- Jerod Alton (5’10, 185, RSFr.) Last Week: 4 tackles
Missouri’s No. 1 cornerback returned to the field after missing the Idaho game thanks to the lingering effects of being run over by Sony Michel.
Cornerback:
- Adam Sparks (6’0, 175, Fr.) Last Week: 4 tackles, 2 PBU
- Logan Cheadle (5’10, 185, Sr.) Last Week: 4 tackles, 1 sack, 1 PBU
A solid game from the “other guys” in Missouri’s secondary. They benefited greatly from five sacks (one by Cheadle himself), which took pressure off them, as well as a ton of Husky dropped passes.
Safety:
- Anthony Sherrils (6’0, 190, Sr.) Last Week: 6 tackles, 0.5 sack
- Ronnell Perkins (6’0, 200, So.) Last Week: 1 tackle
- Unlisted: Tavon Ross (6’0, 210, R-Jr.) Last Week: 0—0
Sherrils recorded his first career sack (he shared it with Brandon Lee), but more importantly:
First career sack feels pretty good but the win with my boys feels much better... lets keep it rolling‼️‼️#BowlHunting
— HeMadeAKing (@1Sherrils_2MIZZ) October 29, 2017
Safety:
- Kaleb Prewett (6’1, 210, Jr.) Last Week: 2 tackles
- Thomas Wilson (5’10, 195, Sr.) Last Week: 4 tackles
- Cam Hilton (6’0, 190, Jr.) Last Week: 2 tackles, 1 PBU
- Unlisted: Jordan Ulmer (6’2, 195) Last Week: 0--0
Special Teams
Kicker:
- Tucker McCann (6’0, 205, So.) Last Week: 37 yarder: good, 7/7 on XPs
- Unlisted: Nick Bartolotta (5’6, 185, RJr.)
Tucker McCann returned from his own mysterious suspension.
Punter:
- Corey Fatony (5’11, 205, Jr.)
Last Week: 3 punts -- 131, average 43.7
