On Mondays, we talk depth charts.

Missouri has released its depth chart and game notes for Friday’s road game against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Spoiler: no two-deep changes.

Offense

Quarterback

  • Drew Lock (6’4, 225, Jr.) Last Week: 10/25 -- 235 yards, 3 TDs, 7 runs -- 37 yards
  • Micah Wilson (6’3, 215, RSFr.) Last Week: 0—0
  • Jack Lowary (6’4, 225, So.)

After a quiet three-touchdown (and zero-interception!) performance against Vandy, Drew Lock now has 38 touchdowns in 2017 and needs just two more to pass Chase Daniel’s 2008 record for passing touchdowns in a season.

Running back

  • Ish Witter (5’10, 200, Sr.) Last Week: 16 — 104
  • Larry Rountree (5’11, 215, Fr.) Last Week: 15 —57, 1 TD
  • Not listed: Dawson Downing (6’0, 225, R-Fr.) Last Week: 0—0

Back to back weeks of Ish Witter reaching over 100 yards rushing.

Receiving corps

X-WR:

  • J’Mon Moore (6’3, 205, Sr.) Last Week: 3 catches/6 targets -- 78 yards
  • Dominic Collins (6’2, 185, Sr.) Last Week: 0—0

Seventy-one of Moore’s yards came on one play, and he still needs 143 yards (against Arkansas and in a bowl game) to break 1,000 for the second straight year.

Y-WR:

  • Emanuel Hall (6’3, 200, Jr.) Last Week: 0/5 — 0 yards
  • Nate Brown (6’3, 210, R-Jr.) Last Week: 0—0

Hall’s covert attempt to sabotage Drew Lock’s statistics is a pretty crafty way to force him to return for his senior year. At least that’s how I’m viewing this recent case of dropped passes.

Slot:

  • Johnathon Johnson (5’10, 185, So.) Last Week: 1 /5 -- 11 yards
  • Richaud Floyd (5’11, 190, So.) Last Week: 1 /2 — 30 yards, 1 TD

Johnson caught the first pass thrown to him and then was largely neutralized by Vandy’s corners or miscommunication with Drew Lock.

Tight End:

  • Albert Okwuegbunam (6’5, 260, RSFr.) Last Week: 5/6 — 116, 2 TDs
  • Jason Reese (6’5, 250, Sr.) Last Week: 0—0
  • Kendall Blanton (6’6, 260, Jr.) Last Week: 0 — 0

I’m just gonna let David’s tweets do the talking:

Offensive line

Left Tackle:

  • Yasir Durant (6’7, 340, So.)
  • OR Tyler Howell (6’8, 330, Sr.)

Left Guard:

  • Kevin Pendleton (6’4, 330, Jr.)
  • Adam Ploudre (6’4, 315, Sr.)

Center:

  • Trystan Castillo (6’4, 315, RSFr.)
  • Jonah Dubinski (6’2, 295, So.)

Right Guard:

  • Tre’Vour Simms (6’5, 340, So.)
  • AJ Harris (6’4, 310, So.)

Right Tackle:

  • Paul Adams (6’6, 315, Jr.)
  • Samson Bailey (6’4, 295, Jr.)

Defense

Defensive line

Rush End:

  • Marcell Frazier (6’5, 265, Sr.) Last Week: 2 tackles, 0.5 sacks, 1 TFL, 2 QB hurries
  • Chris Turner (6’4, 250, Fr.) Last Week: 0—0
  • Unlisted: Akial Byers (6’4, 295, Fr.) Las Week: 0—0

Frazier needs just one more sack to reach double digits, and he’s been playing very well in this closing stretch. Arkansas is going to try and pass the ball plenty, so he should have several opportunities.

Defensive End:

  • Jordan Harold (6’2, 255, R-Sr.) Last Week: 1 tackle
  • Nate Anderson (6’0, 265, Jr.) Last Week: 0—0
  • OR Tre Williams (6’5, 250 R-Fr.) Last Week: 1 tackle, 1 QBH, 93 off-sides penalties*

*This number may not be exact.

Nose Tackle:

  • AJ Logan (6’2, 330, SR.) Last Week: 2 tackles, 0.5 sacks,
  • Markell Utsey (6’4, 305, So.) Last Week: 1 tackle
  • Walter Palmore (6’4, 320, Jr.) Last Week: 0—0

Defensive Tackle:

  • Terry Beckner Jr. (6’4, 305, Jr.) Last Week: 3 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 INT, 1 PBU
  • Rashad Brandon (6’3, 300, Jr.) Last Week: 1 tackle, 1 TFL
  • Kobie Whiteside (6’1, 300, Fr.) Last Week: 0—0

Can’t wait to see this guy get paid.

Linebackers

Weakside Linebacker:

  • Terez Hall (6’2, 230, Jr.) Last Week: 5 tackles, 1 PBU
  • Joey Burkett (6’2, 230, Sr.) Last Week: 1 tackle
  • Unlisted: Aubrey Miller (6’2, 210, Fr.) Last Week: 0—0

Middle Linebacker:

  • Cale Garrett (6’3, 235, So.) Last Week: 12 tackles, 1 sack, 2 TFL
  • Eric Beisel (6’3, 245, Sr.) Last Week: 1 tackle, 1 QBH
  • Unlisted: Jamal Brooks (6’1, 227, Fr.) Last Week: 1 tackle

Sam/Nickel defender:

  • Brandon Lee (6’2, 225, Jr.) Last Week: 1 tackles, 1 INT, 2 PBU
  • TJ Warren (5’11, 215, R-So.) Last Week: 2 tackles
  • Joshua Bledsoe (6’0, 200, Fr.) Last Week: 2 tackles

Suddenly Missouri’s linebackers look good when each is able to play to their strength: Garrett is the run-blitzer, Hall is the pass-rusher and Lee is the edge/space defender.

Secondary

Cornerback:

  • DeMarkus Acy (6’2, 185, So.) Last Week: 9 tackles, 1 PBU
  • Jerod Alton (5’10, 185, RSFr.) Last Week: 1 tackle

This was the first time I’ve seen Acy play a dominant game. He’s an aggressive corner who loves to hit, and against Vanderbilt he was able to play to his strengths.

Cornerback:

  • Adam Sparks (6’0, 175, Fr.) Last Week: 3 tackles, 1 INT
  • Logan Cheadle (5’10, 185, Sr.) Last Week: 0 — 0

Props to young Adam Sparks for his first career interception — one of three the Tigers had against the Commodores and nine in the past three games. A big reason for the defense’s improvement has been the ability of this secondary to turn pass break-ups into turnovers that get them of the field.

Safety:

  • Anthony Sherrils (6’0, 190, Sr.) Last Week: 9 tackles
  • Ronnell Perkins (6’0, 200, So.) Last Week: 0 — 0
  • Unlisted: Tavon Ross (6’0, 210, R-Jr.) Last Week: 1 tackle

Safety:

  • Kaleb Prewett (6’1, 210, Jr.) Last Week: 7 tackles, 1 TFL
  • Thomas Wilson (5’10, 195, Sr.) Last Week: 1 tackle
  • Cam Hilton (6’0, 190, Jr.) Last Week: 0—0
  • Unlisted: Jordan Ulmer (6’2, 195) Last Week: 0—0

Special Teams

Kicker:

  • Tucker McCann (6’0, 205, So.) Last Week: 6/6 on XPs, 1 FG — 41 yards

Kick Returner:

  • Larry Rountree (5’11, 215, Fr.) Last Week: 4 — 48 yards, 18.8 average

Punter:

  • Corey Fatony (5’11, 205, Jr.) Last Week: 5 punts for 186 yards, 37.2 average

Punt Returner:

  • Richaud Floyd (5’11, 190, So.) Last Week: 1 — 78 yards, 1 TD
