JUCO DT Rashad Brandon cleared to play

Missouri’s defensive line gets reinforcements.

Missouri DT Rashad Brandon

ASA Junior College defensive tackle Rashad Brandon (6'3, 305) was cleared to play after being held out of the first few weeks of Missouri football's preseason camp by the NCAA clearinghouse due to academic qualifying issues.

Brandon, who enrolled earlier this year, participated in spring practices and played in Missouri’s spring game, earning rave reviews from fans and coaches alike.

Missouri is still waiting to hear about the qualification of JUCO All-American defensive tackle Malik Young but his team mate, Walter Palmore, was cleared to play earlier this week, giving the Tigers much needed interior depth.

The Tigers’ first fall scrimmage is Saturday.
