Game Thread: Mizzou at Arkansas

Mizzou skipped out on the ice in Mid-Missouri early and got to Fayetteville yesterday for an important game against their SEC rival.

Taking a look at the four factors, this is a unique Arkansas team in that they aren't like a traditional Mike Anderson squad. They aren't forcing turnovers but they are pretty good at defense and limiting percentages (not great for Mizzou). But in true Mike Anderson form, they're a bad defensive rebounding team.

Where the Hogs are pretty good though is on offense, with Moses Kingsley, Dusty Hannahs, Jaylen Barford and Darryl Macon all capable of going off. Anton Beard has hit his share of big shots as well. Still, despite their ability to score the ball, Arkansas is far from being the complete team I thought they'd be before the season. I think most consider Arkansas a borderline NCAA team and they probably are, but starting 1-3 in the league isn't a great way to endear yourselves to the selection committee, even if two of those losses were to Kentucky and Florida. It's the home loss to Mississippi State that hurt the most.

The bad news is the Razorbacks have a chance to rectify that start beginning today against a Missouri team who struggles offensively in just about every category. If the Razorbacks get rolling at home, it could be a long day for the Tigers.

So the Tigers are trying to break a 27-game long losing streak on the road against a good offensive team in a rivalry game where they are projected to have an 8% chance of winning. Eight is better than zero. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
