WELCOME TO MIZZOU FOOTBALL SATURDAY
:no_upscale()/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/9555717/usa_today_10358902.jpg)
(Shoutout to #MizzouMade himself, Sean WeatherSPOOOOOON, for being signed by the Falcons this week!)
Mizzou football fans were full of cautious optimism heading into last week’s game against Idaho, eager to see if post-bye week production would continue but also half-expecting a total breakdown. Thankfully, we got the former scenario: a 68-21 Homecoming domination of the Vandals.
The Tigers’ final non-conference game of 2017 will see them travel to New England, looking for Barry Odom’s first road win — but without starting running back Damarea Crockett.
A win against a weak, Group of 5-laden schedule and a very, very vulnerable pass defense in the Connecticut Huskies would also mean Odom’s first in-season back to back wins (Missouri technically won back to back with last year’s season-ending win Arkansas and this year’s season opener vs Missouri State.)
A letdown now would not only send the Tigers’ slim chance at a bowl down the drain, but would also poorly setup Mizzou in preparation for their final four SEC games coming up.
Here we go!

Speaking of stats, Drew Lock should have a record game, David Morrison already has a prediction:
Going to leave this here, then see how right (or, more likely wrong) I am Saturday. Drew Lock vs. UConn: 30-of-48, 523 yards, 6 TD.
