For quite a while now, Missouri and Georgia pass rusher Jatorian Hansford have been batting their eyes at each other, and it seemed a “when, not if” situation regarding his commitment.
That “when” was today, just after his official visit to Columbia.

Woo, lordy, this guy can hit. We’ll see about how much weight he can pack on (and what position Missouri officially has him playing — I’m assuming defensive end, but weight gain will determine some of that), but one thing his highlight video confirms is that he can pursue. And when he reaches his target, he hits it really, really hard.
Hansford didn’t boast any marquee offers and seemed to slip under the radar for the most part for whatever reason. But he appears to be a hell of an athlete, and Mizzou’s been on him for quite a while. That makes for a nice match.
Assuming he indeed ends up at end, he’s Missouri’s second defensive end commit of 2018, joining Blue Springs’ Daniel Parker Jr. But whereas Parker could fill more of an every-down role (or pack on a lot more weight and move inside), this dude’s an attacker, and he could be a fun one to watch.
WELCOME, JATORIAN.
(There are rumors, by the way, of a second commitment tonight, but we’ll await official word on that one.)
