Mizzou’s latest OL signee is even bigger (taller, anyway) than the last one.
Welcome @mikeruth18 to the family! Mike will be a FORCE in our trenches! He knew immediately he wanted to be here & has not wavered one day since. We haven't taken you for granted Mike! You are a pillar of this class & will do special things here at Mizzou! #TX #ShowMe18 pic.twitter.com/8HXRioaibA

Mike Ruth
- Position: OL
- Height, Weight: 6’7, 300
- City (School): Coppell, TX (Coppell)
- 247Sports Rating: 0.8405 (3 stars)
- Rivals Rating: 3 stars (5.6)
- Other Offers of Note: Arizona State, Indiana, Iowa State, Miami, Syracuse, Yale
From the original commitment article:
Ruth is, first and foremost, a big dude. Mizzou added some serious size in bringing guys like Yasir Durant (6’7, 340) and Larry Borom (6’6, 340) to the table last year, and with still a year to go before he reports to campus, Ruth is listed at 6’7, 310. And I’m not going to lie: I laughed out loud multiple times while watching his highlight film. He’s real, real mean, at one point raising fist like a professional wrestler after a pancake block.
Ruth reported offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, Miami, and Vanderbilt, but Mizzou was on him pretty early in the process. He is listed as a mid-three-star prospect per the 247Sports Composite. He is the first of what will probably be four or five offensive line commits as Mizzou looks to replenish its stock.
Mike is a large, physical and imposing lineman who embodies the traits needed to dominate in the SEC. His toughness is on display in his highlights: #MIZ #ShowMe ️ pic.twitter.com/NIx20E9oaA

Ruth is a reflection of Missouri’s redoubled efforts in the state of Texas. He committed a while ago and never wavered. Welcome, Mike.
