Gerald Nathan Jr. was one of the last players to commit to Mizzou before the early signing period. He was also evidently the first one to sign this morning.
Welcome @ge_nathan13 to the family! Gerald Nathan will be a problem for opponents offenses for years to come in the Black & Gold! The way he pursues the football & strikes people adds a dynamic element to the #ShowMe18 Defense! See you shortly Gerald! #NC pic.twitter.com/mDbReZCY4n

From the original commitment article:
Depending on which recruiting service you’re using, Nathan is between 6’1 and 6’2 and between about 200 and 210 pounds. He was overlooked by recruiting services, but his highlight film is devastating. This dude hits like a semi truck. I laughed out loud a couple of times watching this. With all due “playing against overmatched competition” caveats, it’s not hard to see what the Missouri staff sees in this guy.
Gerald is an elite-level defender who can play in space and attack downhill. His highlights show why: #MIZ #ShowMe ️ pic.twitter.com/wWWhVi5vhe

Gerald Nathan was such a pleasure to have here on his visit at Mizzou! Very respectful, humble young man, and has that intense look in his eye of somebody you know is intrinsically motivated & driven to be successful. So proud of him & happy he is a part of this class! #ShowMe18
