You want your cornerbacks confident, and I’m guessing new Mizzou signee Jarvis Ware doesn’t lack in that regard.
“I feel like I’m fixin’ to go to the SEC and shut the SEC down. Jerry Jeudy, I’m on your head. Ole Miss I’m on your head. Any other SEC schools, I’m on your head, especially Alabama.”
Well then.
Welcome @WareJarvis to the family! Jarvis has the confidence, length, & speed to be absolutely lethal in our secondary. You were born for this moment Jarvis. We can't wait to turn you loose! #FL #ShowMe18 pic.twitter.com/ievlypyzNP

Jarvis Ware has that confident personality every great defensive back has to have. I played with @show_case29 & @Drehal29 back in 2011 before they were NFL stars & Jarvis has that same swag that made Casey & Dre great! You are destined to for big things @WareJarvis ! #ShowMe18

Jarvis Ware
- Position: CB

- City (School): Apopka, FL (Wekiva)
- 247Sports Rating: 0.8321 (3 stars)
- Rivals Rating: 2 stars (5.3)

From the original commitment article:
Ware is a 5’11, 170-pound cornerback from Apopka (Fla.) Wekiva High School. He listed offers from Oregon (whose head coach, Willie Taggart, was at USF until this season), USF, Wake Forest, and Virginia Tech, among others. And he comes with one hell of an endorsement.
Florida native and SBN Recruiting head honcho Bud Elliott isn’t the easiest guy in the world to impress, and he loves Ware. That’s honestly just about all I need to hear.
Ware’s film is great in all the ways you’d expect of an athletic, “relentless” high school cornerback. He reads the ball well and breaks quickly, he’s sticky, and it appears he can play physically when he needs to.
Welcome, Jarvis. Bring it.
