The approximate goal for coaches heading into the early signing period was 80 percent — coaches wanted/expected to sign about 80 percent of their committed players to scholarships. With Chris Mills making it official, Missouri is now up to 86 percent (18 of 21).

- 247Sports Rating: 0.8431 (3 stars)

From the original commitment article:
Mils is listed at 6’0, 185 pounds and boasts a 0.8366 rating from the 247Sports Composite. He boasted offers from Virginia, Arizona, BYU, and Michigan State. He shows solid ball skills in the highlight film above, but he also evidently likes to hit. Hard. Frequently. That obviously could translate to a safety’s or nickel back’s skill set, too, if the situation arises.
Chris is a long, athletic corner who can use his size and instincts to disrupt the opposition’s passing attack. Check out his highlights:#MIZ #ShowMe ️ pic.twitter.com/zNfSX2JvhF

Mills was a recent commit, and like most of the other incoming Mizzou defenders, he hits really hard. He was part of a concerted effort to bolster depth in the Tiger secondary, and he might have the size and skill to crack the two-deep pretty quickly at any number of positions. WELCOME (OFFICIALLY), CHRIS.
