Missouri commit Michael Porter Jr. made no secret of trying to attract fellow McDonald’s All Americans to join him in Columbia when the stars were in Chicago last week.

Porter particularly seemed to hone in on one undecided player: Tampa’s Kevin Knox. It apparently worked enough to make Knox curious about what Mizzou has to offer. He announced on Saturday that he will be in town next weekend.

No matter your recruiting service of choice, the 6’8, 205-pound Knox is considered one of the gems of the 2017 recruiting class. He is ranked...

His highlights are, predictably, strong. Duh.

A DraftExpress scouting report from last summer suggested he could be an elite-level defender and possessed massive inside-outside potential but needed to gain strength.

Knox has long been considered a Duke lean. Cuonzo Martin and company will have a chance to pull an upset.

Pretty exciting, yeah?
