Top St. Louis recruits speak with Frank Cusumano about Missouri recruitment

KSDK-TV's Frank Cusumano talks to 2018's top Missouri targets in the St. Louis area.

About a month ago, we checked in on Missouri's recruitment of the top ten recruits in the state. Of that ten, seven are from the St. Louis area, only Christian Brothers' WR Kamryn Babb did not appear for this group interview.

I listened to the interview and took some quotes and notes.

Trevor Trout KSDK-TV

Trevor Trout, "The camaraderie, the hitting, the superiority of 'I'm better than you' that's why I love football."

Later, when asked about if Missouri has to win before landing their commitments, Trout said, "If [Mizzou] can win 6-7 games in the SEC, that's pretty impressive."

Michael Thompson KSDK-TV

Michael Thompson, "[Mizzou] need to win more than they do now."

Ayodele Adeoye KSDK

Ayodele Adeoye spoke about a having a good relationship with DeMontie Cross

If Adeoye seemed a bit preoccupied, that could be because he's planning on being an early enrollee, according to Jeremy Werner of Scout. Illinois, Texas, LSU, Oklahoma and Mizzou were among five announced as favorites

Ronnie Perkins KSDK-TV

Ronnie Perkins spoke about his connection with Brick Haley as well as getting to play with his brother, Ronnell Perkins, who is currently a safety for Mizzou.

Dallas Craddieth KSDK-TV

Dallas Craddieth summarized all the recruits when he spoke about Mizzou being close to home and that would allow his family and friends being able to come watch him play.

Cameron Brown KSDK-TV

Cameron Brown, "[Mizzou] has to compete because I want to go for run for a national championship."

After watching the interview, what do you think about Missouri's chances with each?
