Mizzou lands another blue-chip Kansas City commit

The #MOmentum is real, folks!

Everyday is a great day to be a Tiger!
@benschwenker

Blue-chip defensive end Daniel Parker Jr. wasn’t the only Kansas City prospect who committed to Missouri’s football team on Thursday. The Tigers received word via Twitter of another local’s decision to spend his Saturday’s at Faurot Field.

Five-star Social Media Coordinator Ben Schwenker declared his intention to repurchase season tickets for Mizzou Football.

The full text:

First off I want to thank the man above for blessing me and my wife with the means to watch football in Columbia, MO. I want to thank my family, friends, and MU Ticket Offices for getting me this far as an alumni. As a student at MU, there was never a better day than a day played at Faurot. And now, each Saturday I can relive the joy, excitement and pageantry shared with my fellow True Sons. At this time I would like to announce my repurchase of football season tickets for the UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI

#MizzouMade #TrueSon

I can’t seem to find his HUDL page and the only recruiting website he’s listed on is a LinkedIn page which tells me that between 2009 and 2013 Schwenker “spent four years at the University of Missouri studying journalism and strategic communication.”

Missouri head coach Barry Odom responded to Ben's tweet with "I'm thankful for you and your support...I look forward to leading OUR TEAM this season!! #Saturdays@Faurot"

At this time, we are going to proactively respect Schwenker’s decision for no interviews.

Welcome (back) to the Zou, Ben! Thanks for the entertainment.
