Missouri announced on Wednesday that safety and senior-to-be Kaleb Prewett was “indefinitely suspended” from the team.
Missouri safety Kaleb Prewett has been indefinitely suspended from the football program for a violation of team policy. From the team: “We will continue to gather additional information and work with campus and department leadership to determine his future in our program.”

The text of Dave Matter’s tweet:

As David Morrison points out, “work with campus and department leadership” does not suggest a “he was late to a workout” type of violation but something perhaps quite a bit more serious.
The Blue Springs native was a Mizzou starter in 2017, first at nickel back and then at free safety. He compiled 53.0 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three passes defensed.
More as this develops, obviously.
