1. Kelly Bryant is starting to schedule official visits — and Missouri may be one of them.
Per Woody Wommack of Rivals.com, the former Clemson quarterback is taking an official visit to North Carolina this weekend and he’s also scheduled an official visit to Arkansas.
Most interestingly for Missouri fans, however, is this part of Wommack’s report:
In addition to UNC and Arkansas, Bryant is also working to schedule official visits to Louisville and Missouri, with those dates still to be determined.
The Arkansas visit certainly makes sense, as Bryant has a pre-existing relationship with Chad Morris. Morris was Clemson’s offensive coordinator as recently as 2014. While he didn’t overlap with Bryant (a 2015 recruit), you can bet Bryant and Morris knew each other from his recruitment.
The biggest thing that jumps out to me are the quality of the team’s Bryant is considering. All four of these programs find themselves in uncertain times. It seems like Bryant is valuing playing time — and probably offensive scheme. Missouri certainly has plenty to offer in both regards.
Also, at least one Missouri player is aware of the Bryant sweepstakes. This is DT Antar Thompson, who hasn’t played much this season for Missouri:

2. Missouri’s a big ‘dog on Saturday — but it’s also the 15th anniversary of another huge Missouri upset win.
This is a great piece by Mark Godich, a special to PowerMizzou.com, looking back at Missouri’s upset win over Nebraska in 2003 — ending a 25-year losing streak to the Cornhuskers.
This was before my Missouri career began — I’m not a life-long fan, and my freshman year was 2005 — so I’m not going to act like this hits me right in the feels. But I’m sure that’s not the case for most of the fans out there.
How about Missouri writes another chapter in huge upset history on Saturday?

As an aside, I remember my first time hearing Dixieland Delight — visiting friends in Athens, Ga., early on during my freshman year at college. I had not been around that kind of fraternity environment before, and it was wild what that song did to people.
