POLL! What needs to happen against Alabama for you to feel good about the rest of the season?

We asked what you’d need to see against the Crimson Tide to feel good about the rest of the year — y’all have some realistic expectations!

Happy Game Day, Tiger fans! Today’s kind of a weird one considering the Tigers’ opponent tonight. It’s exciting to imagine an upset... but some of the suspense has obviously been lifted.

Still there’s a lot we can learn about the Tigers against Alabama. And we want to know what y’all are expecting to see. So we asked: what do you need to see in Tuscaloosa to feel pretty good about the rest of this Missouri season?

Y’all are walking the line between foolish optimism and overt pessimism really well! Mizzou is actually a fairly good bet to beat the spread considering their offensive firepower and Alabama’s record against the spread this year. Of course, that likely has more to do with how good Alabama is — and the crazy lines that follow — than anything else.

As for those second and third place options — if you were asking me, I’d say it’s probably more likely Mizzou scores 28 considering Alabama’s weaker defensive showing last week. But if this were to be a somewhat close game entering the fourth, you’d have to feel very good about Mizzou going forward.

On to some y’all’s answers!

This is an admirable goal that we should have included as an option. Chris, remind us to consult you next time.

This tweet went from optimistic and positive to, “sly dig at the fanbase,” really quick.

Points for creativity! But unfortunately, Ole Miss went up on the Tide 7-0 before they put up 62 unanswered points.

There’s still time to vote! What do you need to see from Mizzou against the Tide to feel good about the rest of the year?
