Depth chart analysis

Emanuel Hall is back on the depth chart! ... But as a second-stringer. Regardless, having Hall back for the rest of the season is huge for a Missouri team that’s lacked in wide receiver play since him and Nate Brown’s injuries. True freshman Jalen Knox has stepped up admirably in their absence, but having Hall back is big-time. Hall has 18 receptions for 430 yards and three touchdowns, including two 171-yard performances. Before his injury, he was one of the nation’s most dynamic wide receivers this year. The Tigers hope he returns to that dominance in the coming weeks.

Kendall Blanton’s knee sprain isn’t as bad as some may have thought. Minutes prior to Saturday’s game against Kentucky, it was announced Blanton would miss the game due to a knee sprain and would be week-to-week. He’s listed on the depth chart with no backup tight end, assuming he’s healthy enough to play this week against Florida.

Defensive tackle Rashad Brandon has moved up to a second-string role. The senior has surpassed Kobie Whiteside as Terry Beckner Jr.’s backup.
