GAME THREAD: Mizzou faces the Oregon State Beavers in the Paradise Jam

After an ugly and sloppy 25 minutes to finish off round one, Mizzou hopes to get back on track offensively against the 79th ranked Oregon State Beavers. Sure the Tigers won their first round matchup but they scored on 19 second half points.

Time to see a few more shots go in, and that’s the only way they’re advancing to the championship game.

Officiating has been all over the place and a host of ticky-tack fouls have led to some sluggish movement in a game that started with a lot of energy. Missouri jumped to an early lead on some hot shooting from Jeremiah Tilmon, Mark Smith and Torrence Watson and things have since cooled off with Tilmon and Smith in foul trouble. Kevin Puryear led the way down the stretch with a couple buckets and a few FTs.
