It didn’t take very long for Missouri to add another name to its 2019 recruiting class.
After tight end prospect Niko Hea from CBC committed Monday night, longtime defensive end target Isaiah McGuire from Union (Okla.) announced his commitment on Twitter Tuesday morning:

He wasn’t the most sought-after lineman in his class, but McGuire impressed Missouri’s coaches with his performance at Night at the Zou in July. The 6-foot-5, 260 pound recruit developed solid relationships with the team’s defensive coaches, including defensive line coach Brick Haley and defensive coordinator Ryan Walters.
McGuire chose Mizzou over his hometown Tulsa and the Tigers’ in-state rival Missouri State, and he also had interest from Liberty Bowl-opponent Oklahoma State during his recruiting process. With McGuire’s commitment, Missouri now has two defensive line commits in this recruiting class.
