It’s gameday, which is the perfect time for some Mizzou Hoops recruiting notes!

Here are today’s Mizzou Links.

I guess I’ll start with an actual link since this is a links post! Apparently Davion Bradford is back on the board.

Alex Schiffer, of the KCStar, had a note regarding Mizzou’s rekindled interest in the 4-star big man from St. Louis. Bradford was at CBC as a freshman and the beginning of his sophomore season before transferring out to a prep school in Phoenix for the remainder of his sophomore season.

It was a bit of a weird move at the time, but he’s made his way back to St. Louis and enrolled at Mehlville High School over the summer and joined up with two other D-1 level players in Lamontay Daugherty and Dylan Branson (both of whom play for the Bradley Beal Elite) and hold SLU, SIU, and SIUE offers so far. Missouri appears to also be tracking Daugherty, who at 6’6 has the size to play the wing at the high major level.

Bradford is intriguing. He’s big, but moves pretty well for his size. His footwork can be sloppy and his effort can be inconsistent but he’s got all the tools. He has a soft touch and it extends enough to see a future where he can drop a 20 footer or two. Plus this looks like fun:

The ideal class still starts with at least a couple of the Caleb Love — Josh Christopher — Cam’Ron Fletcher trio, but the 2020 class will likely need a post, and Bradford could be the guy. Missouri has yet to offer but Bradford has received offers from Oklahoma, Kansas State, SLU, and Arizona State so far. I think Missouri will be along after further evaluation soon.

Speaking of Cam’Ron Fletcher, and his high school teammate Mario McKinney...

Matt Harris was actually at the game doing a little recruiting coverage and will have more soon, but McKinney and Fletcher had themselves a whale of a game against some elite competition. Morgan Park is one of the top teams from Chicago and the defending 3A state champions who feature two star juniors in Adam Miller and Marcus Watson. Fletcher has been blowing up with his offers and did this in the game:

As I said before, Matt will have a more in depth update on Fletcher soon. But he was also able to check out Luke Kasubke of Chaminade who continues to hear from Missouri. However I’d imagine he’s behind Fletcher and Christopher on the wing.

Missouri has one scholarship to give, and Isaiah Mosley is still available

I’m not saying Missouri should go after Mosley at this point but it’s an intriguing question. He’s not a super high level athlete but he gives you one thing at a high level and that’s shooting.

I’m not sure if he’s the answer they’re looking for, but Mosley will likely be available in the spring and if you see what you need to see the rest of the season he’d be a pretty solid pickup.
