This week, we took to Twitter to see who (out of the four players) is most important to the Mizzou Defense this year. Before we get into the results, just know we left Terry Beckner Jr. out on purpose because we all know how important he is. 40% of the people said DeMarkus Acy is the most important this season, which makes sense because if the secondary is a “No Fly Zone” that creates so many opportunities to get to the quarterback. 25% said Tre Williams, 21% said Terez Hall, and 14% said Jordan Elliott would be the most important.
As far as these results, the more pressure other lineman can create, the more likely we will see one-on-one chances for TBJ, which is never a bad thing. Now, here’s the poll.

And here are some of the replies we received.
If we don’t have pressure off the edge, nothing else matters. Even the elite DBs and LBs can’t cover receivers forever. Tre Williams is the most important and it’s not particularly close.

This makes sense, right?
I fell that @THallStayReady is the main factor for the Defense to be successful this fall. Senior leadership.

Terez Hall could have a huge year and if he does, it will be so fun to watch for all of us.
So, we now ask you. What do you say?
