Through a week of preseason camp, Missouri had largely avoided the injury bug.
Until Friday.
Some notable #Mizzou football camp health updates: Tight end Messiah Swinson has torn his ACL and is likely out for the season. Ronnell Perkins and Jordan Elliott are out with knee strains. Terez Hall our with a hamstring. Johnathon Johnson is sick.

Swinson, a freshman who signed with Missouri during the early signing period in December, turned heads through the first week of fall camp. A legitimate 6-foot-8, Swinson made a couple of impressive catches during the open portions of camp.
While the tight end position is locked-in at the top with Albert Okwuegbunam and Kendall Blanton, Swinson looked like a safe bet to see time on the field this year.
Missouri also has Logan Christopherson and Brendan Scales on scholarship at tight end, so depth concerns at the position would be premature.
