It’s pretty clear what Twitter dot com thinks, what say you?

Before we get to the results, side note: Thank you for voting in these polls. Hopefully you enjoy them as much as we do and if you have any poll suggestions, tweet them to me @Mhill_. Now, to the poll.

The Rock M Nation Twitter poll is back for another week. Up until the season, you can expect to see category specific polls and be sure to vote so you can have your voice heard! This week, the poll asked who would lead Mizzou in rushing touchdowns this season. Ish Witter had 6 last year, but he graduated, Larry Rountree had 6, which was a very nice addition to the Mizzou Offense since Damarea Crockett missed most of last season with an injury and only had 2 rushing touchdowns. Drew Lock had 1 rushing touchdown this season, but with a new offense, who knows what can happen this year.

Here’s what Twitter Said:

It should not be a huge surprise that Damarea Crockett received most of the votes here at 66%. He had a monster year his first year in Columbia and with him being back to full health, the expectations are for him to pick up where he left off.

Larry Rountree III looks to build off of a successful Year One campaign as well, and he received 31% of the votes. Drew Lock received 3%, so there are some people believing he could be a dual threat QB or the age old QB sneak on the Goal-Line for an easy touchdown could be in play here.

Here are some of the replies:

If only... that was a lot of fun.

New Mizzou OC Derek Dooley certainly is one for competition at every spot, which we learned the other day.

Never. Forget. What a truck stick that was.

If Crockett and Rountree are healthy together this year, Mizzou’s rushing attack could be one of the best in the SEC, which will only help open things up for the passing game. Mizzou’s tempo is likely to change this year and a successful running game will be a big part of that, if you ask me.

Now, it’s the rest of the Internet’s turn to vote. Who are you taking?
