POLL! What should Mizzou be focusing on during the weekend off?

Missouri has a few extra days off this weekend, but they’ve got a lot of work to do before their next game in South Carolina. What should they be focusing on?

NCAA Football: Georgia at Missouri Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

Happy bye weekend, Tiger fans! Barry’s boys are back at home “resting” today while the rest of the college football world turns. I hope y’all are enjoying a day of tasty food, delicious bevs and lots of great football.

But much like our undying loyalty to Ole Mizzou, the work never stops in college football. After a disappointing loss to Georgia last weekend, the Tigers have plenty to work on before heading to the lesser Columbia next weekend for a game that could signal how far they’ve come since last year.

So we petitioned you on Twitter: in your opinion, what should Mizzou be working on as they get extra days to prep for the Gamecocks?

These aren’t the most shocking results we could have received. Mizzou has only turned in about 75 percent of a solid defensive performance in any game this season, and the offense’s struggles against Georgia were goaded by persistent injuries to much of Missouri’s receiving corps. Making sure Emanuel Hall gets back to 100 percent and getting the defense to a more consistent place are definitely top priorities.

However, some of the responses we got to this poll reflect some of the — we’ll call it frustration left over from the Georgia loss

Well, it would definitely make for a big shakeup in the locker room.

But, uh... no.

So what do you think? What should Mizzou be focusing on until they head to Columbia West next weekend?
