GAME THREAD: Missouri looks to rebound at home against Wofford

After falling to Xavier, the Tigers will host an experienced Wofford Terriers squad tonight at Mizzou Arena

FINAL: Missouri allowed zero field goals in the last 14:35 of the game, going on a 30-13 run in that timeframe. Tigers improve to 3-1 on the season, and Wofford drops to 2-3.

2:34 2H: Dru Smith nails a jumper to put Missouri up 69-53. The Tigers are firmly in control, and on their way to an impressive win over a formidable Wofford team.

7:20 2H: Tigers are on a 13-0 run after two free throws from Tilmon, and lead 58-45. Pinson has 10 points tonight, six of them coming during the last run. Missouri’s guards are simply outplaying their Wofford counterparts right now.

11:55 2H: Xavier Pinson knocks a pass away near midcourt, corrals it and throws down a one-handed jam in transition to put Missouri up 52-45. Tigers are making plenty of noise right now offensively.

15:31 2H: Tigers go back on top after a 10-2 Wofford run thanks to back-to-back dunks from Jeremiah Tilmon. Tigers are making an effort to get him the ball as much as possible now, and lead 42-41.

HALFTIME: Missouri leads 36-31. The three pointers have been the difference so far. Parker Braun added four points in his first meaningful minutes for Missouri. The ball has spent quite a bit of time behind the three point line for the Tigers, who only attempted two free throws in the first half.

The Tigers dropped a tough game in Cincinnati to Xavier last week in overtime, 63-58, but showed plenty of positives despite the loss. The Tigers will host an experienced Wofford squad tonight that starts four upperclassmen.
