Happy basketball (and also football) week!

In case you missed it, we’re pretty excited about basketball around here.

Of course, that doesn’t mean we’re giving up on football. We’ll still have your same regularly scheduled football programming all week... but now you’ll be able to find some solace in basketball as well! It seems like everyone on the Mizzou beat is getting into basketball mode as well.

• Souichi Terada at the Kansas City Star offered up his season preview on Sunday, looking at general expectations inside the program.
• Dave Matter at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch gave fans five things to watch for the season. The PD also spoke to Cuonzo Martin about his feelings on the external expectations for the program.
