GAME THREAD: Missouri hosts Incarnate Word to kick off 2019-20 season

FINAL: It was a balanced effort all around for Missouri tonight as the Tigers win this one, 82-42. 10 different Tigers made baskets in the game, and Jeremiah Tilmon led the scoring with 16 points.

3:14 2H: Mario McKinney shows off his hops with an emphatic dunk. Tigers lead 77-35 at the final media timeout.

7:37 2H: Tigers lead 69-30, but the offense has slowed considerably. Tilmon makes a pair of free throws, giving him 16 points on the night.

11:52 2H: Tilmon finishes under the rim through a foul, his first points of the second half. Tigers now lead 63-27.

15:36 2H: The Tigers are starting to run away with this one. The lead grows to 55-24 on a pair of free throws from Tray Jackson.

HALFTIME: Missouri leads Incarnate Word 43-22. Jeremiah Tilmon leads the Tigers with 12 points, and eight different Tigers scored in the first half.

3:41 1H: Torrence Watson connects on his first three-pointer of the night after missing his first three attempts. Tigers lead 32-18 at the final media timeout of the first half.

4:50 1H: Jeremiah Tilmon is tearing the Cardinals apart. An alley-oop dunk on a pass from Xavier Pinson gets the crowd going again. Tilmon has 12 points already as the Tigers lead 28-15.

It’s opening night at Mizzou Arena, and the Tigers host the Incarnate Word Cardinals to kick off the 2019-20 campaign. Missouri defeated Central Missouri in an exhibition last Friday, 80-56, and will look to start off Cuonzo Martin’s third season with a win.
