LIVE UPDATES:

FINAL: This is one to appreciate. Dominating performances, where every player gets in on the fun, don’t come around too often. Missouri did everything right tonight to close out non-conference play, winning 91-33.

2:07 2H: Torrence Watson missed is first three attempts from deep. He has made eight of his last 10. His eight made three pointers is a Mizzou Arena record. Missouri leads 83-29.

11:06 2H: My goodness. Missouri is on a 35-8 run since the score was 25-12 in the first half. Mark Smith gets a steal at the top of the key and races back the other way for a breakaway dunk. The Tigers are doing everything right tonight.

17:13 2H: Missouri pushes the lead to 51-14. Chicago State is 351st out of 353 teams in the KemPom rankings, and it’s pretty obvious why.

HALFTIME: Wow. It’s hard to play a better half than that. Missouri shot well, rebounded well and defended well. Torrence Watson caps off the half with a pull-up three as the buzzer sounds.

2:00 1H: The Cougars are going to have a fierce battle to even get to 40 the way things are shaping up. Missouri is playing ferocious defense and leads 37-14.

7:55 1H: Mark Smith knocks down a couple three pointers to get the offensive mojo flowing again. Mario McKinney, Jr. checks into the game and threads a nice pass to Reed Nikko for an assist. Missouri leads 27-8.

11:16: 1H: Things have slowed for Missouri offensively a bit, but Chicago State has shown nothing to indicate it will be able to score consistently. The Tigers are forcing turnovers left and right.

15:16 1H: Missouri has started off hot, going up 12-5 early on the Cougars. The Tigers are playing in front of easily the largest home crowd of the year. The fans are clearly feeling the momentum built by the team these past few weeks.

Mizzou closes out non-conference play tonight against Chicago State in the final game of the decade. The Tigers are favored big, and ideally this would be a game that sees the end of the bench get game action in the second half.
