This young Missouri team has experienced its share of ups and downs this season. The most recent swing has been a dip featuring six losses in seven outings to begin the SEC slate. But if anything can halt the Tigers’ troubles and lead them back into the winner’s circle, it’s the fourth annual Rally for Rhyan game... and the 9-11 Vanderbilt Commodores, who are winless in conference play. Mizzou has at least two distinct advantages. First, the Tigers’ solid defense should be enough to limit a mediocre Vanderbilt attack. Second, MU is 3-0 when playing in the Rally for Rhyan (including contests played in two lean Kim Anderson years), an event that raises funds for pediatric cancer research.
