Mizzou Freshmen signees start arriving on campus

Slowly making moves

June is a notoriously quiet month for Mizzou athletics. There are probably a few top schools lists the Tigers will be a part of in football, and probably basketball.

But what is happening in Missouri athlete are finding their way to campus and setting up shop. Perhaps the most celebrated signee in any of the programs is Aijha Blackwell. And she’s officially on campus:

Blackwell is a consensus 5-star prospect and the highest rated recruit a Mizzou Basketball program has signed since Michael Porter Jr. But Aijha wasn’t the only new Tiger to make it to Columbia. St. Louis Vashon guard Mario McKinney set up shop on Friday:

And it didn’t make it to Twitter, but Kobe Brown went live on instagram from the practice court at Mizzou and there was a glimpse of Tray Jackson shooting baskets. Brown caught a pic of his new locker also...

The numbers were announced earlier in the week, but it does appear as though all three freshman have hit campus and are working out. And if you’re a SnapChatter you could even catch a glimpse of Torrence Watson showing Rio the ropes with some domination in what appeared to be NBA 2K.

For some guidance into what the freshman making it to campus might mean to Missouri in the upcoming season, we recorded a podcast for your to listen to.

Mizzou makes the top 12 for a Legacy

Joe Moore III is one of the top Missouri prospects in 2020, a 3-star DE from and the son of former Tiger Running Back Joe Moore, Jr. Mizzou should be amongst the favorites until the end.

The Tigers also extended an offer to one of the elite 2021 prospects in St. Charles Lutheran DE and son of former NFL DL (and Southeast Missouri State alum) Angel Rubio, Gabriel Rubio. Rubio has officially blown up with offers from just about everywhere.
