Missouri adds commitment of St. Louis OL Jalen St. John

This is Missouri’s 13th commitment of the 2020 class.

Barry Odom continues to clean up in the St. Louis metro area. A few weeks ahead of the Night At The Zou camp, Trinity offensive lineman Jalen St. John became the 13th commitment in the Tigers’ 2020 class.

St. John’s commitment brings Missouri’s in-state total to seven, and the Tigers now have commitments from seven St. Louis-area recruits — which includes Kevon Billingsley of East St. Louis.

St. John is the state of Missouri’s eighth-ranked player in the 2020 class, and Barry Odom now has commitments from four of the top ten players in the state and seven of the top 20. That last number is the most since the 2016 recruiting class; in the 2019 class, Missouri also gained commitments (and eventually signed) three of the top ten -state recruits.
