I’m not sure if I actually think it’s my favorite uniform combo of all time, but the gear that the Tigers wore from the 2007 Armageddon at Arrowhead will always hold the fondest spot in my uniform hierarchy:

Block M helmets, white jerseys, gold pants. A simple, clean look that I will always endorse.
Why do I bring that up? Well, the 2020 version of the Tigers came awfully close to replicating that. Check it out:

Gold pants? Check! White jersey? Check! Block M on the helmets? Inexplicably check! I absolutely love that the Drinkwtiz regime is fully embracing the throwback logo and helmet design.
But wait...that helmet...is...yellow?

Hnngh.
Vanderbilt has gold helmets. Colorado has gold helmets. Notre Dame has gold helmets. Can Missouri really not find a way to get gold helmets? Am I only that gets a headache looking at these yellow hats?
Regardless, take the wins when you can get them: Missouri is actually playing a game this week and they’re rolling with the block M.
