Shootout ends in Victory! Mizzou 50, Arkansas 48

Missouri holds on in dramatic fashion in this year’s addition of the Borderline Rivalry.

We have a rivalry.

What a game. There is so much to digest from this ballgame but WOW it feels great to say Mizzou is 5-3.

It’s hard to pin point one player who played the best in this matchup. Potential candidates include: Larry Rountree III, KJ Jefferson, Trelon Smith, Tyler Badie, Connor Bazelak.

This was a proper shootout win that went down to the wire. I really thought Mizzou’s defense bent following the Nick Bolton ejection, but by no means did they break.

Offensively the Tigers played well all afternoon. That’s obvious just looking at the scoreboard. Gotta give props to the Rountree, Badie duo. They had a combined 5 touchdowns on the afternoon.

My hero of the day: Harrison Mevis.

Without his leg, Mizzou would not have one that ballgame.

This is going to be a game that players and fans will remember for years to come. This rivalry is just getting started.
