Welcome back, Tiger Fans, to another episode of Before the Box Score: Postgame edition with Nate Edwards! Normally, you’ll find Brandon Kiley’s name listed here as well, BUT he’s busy so our very own Aaron Dryden is subbing in.
Mizzou was shorthanded BUT they left the other Columbia with a W, which is always nice. It got a little close in the second half as Mizzou might have been running out of gas, but have no fear, Nick Bolton and company were there to save the day. Here are the takeaways from the game and where Mizzou can go from here. Let’s get to it.
:30- 7:47: Welcome back Tiger Fans. BK is not here today, so Aaron Dryden is here to celebrate the victory over South Carolina. You have to win your clunkers and Mizzou did just that. What are some general takeaways? The limited roster makes this a really good win.
7:48 - 9:40: The turnover Boxing Robe made an appearance at the end of the game! What are the thoughts on said robe and the turnover item gimmick as well? (Producer note: I am here for it. Editor’s note: me too)
9:41 - 14:20: What are some things that you did not like in this game? Mizzou won, which is the most important part, but what can improve?
14:21 - 18:50: It doesn’t matter how you do it, but they came away with it. What impressed you the most about the Tigers on Saturday?
18:51 - 29:00: ICYMI: Nick Bolton is a monster. Let’s dicuss: Bolton or Weatherspoon? Kentrell Brothers? Cale Garrett? In this same regard, we have to talk about the defense and the O-Line on Saturday given all of the COVID issues.
29:01 - END: Final thoughts and just a brief lookahead at Mizzou’s next game against Arkansas, which Nate and BK will break down on the next episode of Before the Box Score!
