In case if you haven’t heard, Mizzou wrestling is still pretty good.
No. 24 ranked Mizzou wrestling beat SIUE 35-7 on Wednesday night to improve to 11-7 on the season.

That continued Tiger Style’s MAC dominance of 22 straight conference wins, including an 8-0 MAC record this season. The wrestling program under Brian Smith has also won nine straight conference titles (eight in the MAC).

Senior day is set for Saturday, February 22nd against Iowa State at 1:30 p.m. CST at the Hearnes Center. The MAC Championships are March 7th-8th in Dekalb, Illinois, and the NCAA Championships are set for March 19-21 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I don’t know about you guys, but Tuesday night’s performance at a ranked LSU squad was still pretty promising. Despite the loss, it was arguably one of Missouri’s best performances of the season. It just wasn’t enough for a win on the road against a ranked opponent, something this program hasn’t accomplished since January 21st, 2012 at No. 3 Baylor.
However, Cuonzo Martin’s message to the team after the game was pretty great. It’s very hard not to root for this coach.

It’s hard not to root for Dru Smith, either. He gave it his all on Tuesday night with a 20-point performance. Respect.

Up next on Saturday is another big opportunity for this Mizzou basketball team, but also a daunting task as they host No. 11 Auburn. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. CST on ESPN2. And the first 2,000 students will get this cool Tiger hat!
