Jim Sterk has a message for Mizzou fans.

On MUTigers.com, Athletic Director Jim Sterk released a statement, providing an update on the coronavirus situation.

Here’s more from Sterk:

“Now more than ever, our student-athletes need your continued generosity and support.”

“I am confident that we need to embrace this challenge together, as best we can, so we can capitalize on our greatest asset, which is OUR PEOPLE! Together, we can do our part within our communities, our state, our nation and world, to do what is necessary to slow the escalation of this pandemic.”

That’s our AD!

Also of note in the statement, the deadline to renew the 2020 football season tickets has been moved to May 31st, so please keep that in mind.

Meanwhile, with no live sports for the foreseeable future, the beginning of NFL Free Agency has dominated the sports world. There are a total of 510 free agents, and seven of them are former Mizzou players with two already signed.

With Chase Daniel in Detroit, he will now be a Lion, a Tiger, and a Bear in his football career. Oh, my! And Connor McGovern will be leaving Drew Lock in Denver as he heads to the New York Jets.

Stay tuned to see where Boehm, Brothers, Gabbert, Golden, and Culkin are signing!

Yeah...that’s about it for now...onto the links!
